If you were a science fiction film
you would only be an epilogue
Everything you needed to tell us
all the pain man feels upon abandoning nature, 
his new replicated life–
wouldn’t be necessary
because it has already happened. 

The elements take up their exact position:
verticality for the trees,landscape of curtains,
cars as a code of behavior,
instructions for entertainment and abuse.
The chopped tree rests. 

We agreed that tragedy is the past already,
now all that is left is fluorescent light.
The big eye of the camera 
knows how we have arrived
in such haste to design the silenced.
